What Really Happens at a Mind Retreat for Mums
And what a weekend it was.
This first retreat was all about guiding mums to learn the art of making space in their minds — space to follow the energy of their children and of life in general. The result? More fun. More connection. More thriving.
As a family, we truly believe — and have experienced — that the more you can do this, the more you thrive. And because you become the ultimate role model, your children thrive too. Everybody wins.
Now, 8 more mums are putting this into practice... and I cannot wait to hear the ripple effect in their families.
And because we recognised that a weekend alone is rare and not to be wasted, we made sure there was space for relaxation, cake, giggles... and even a takeaway dinner!
Take a look at some of the action...
How did the Mind Retreat benefit mums?
Through open and candid discussion in a relaxed and non-judgmental atmosphere, the mums were able to:
Explore their emotions with honesty and self-compassion
Begin laying the foundation for unshakeable self-esteem and self-worth
Build a framework to communicate confidently and clearly
Walk away feeling empowered and prepared to face difficult conversations — whether with their partner, children, extended family, or work colleagues
By working through new and healthier ways to think, feel, and respond, these incredible women made real, lasting changes. All in one weekend with hoogi. Wow.
Here’s what some of the mums had to say afterwards:
RW, Working Mum of two (ages 4 and 3):
“From the two-day retreat, I gave myself the permission and understanding to think and feel, and I gained communication skills that allowed me to talk to my husband about my wants and needs.
I found the group coaching experience invigorating and calming. Dina was worth her weight in gold! She’s so wonderful at drawing out what you really think and feel. She listens deeply and reflects your own words back in ways that bring powerful, thought-provoking clarity.
If you’re considering a hoogi Mind Retreat — Dina loves what she does, she truly listens, and she helps YOU identify your own goals and fears. She offers practical, constructive, and logical ways to support yourself moving forward.”
KM, Working Mum of three (a 4-year-old and twin 1-year-olds):
“I gained specific concepts I can apply right now — to communicate better, manage my emotions, and strengthen my relationship.
The experience included honest, open discussions that mirrored so many of my own experiences... it helped me learn through others and apply real, practical techniques. And it was fun too!
Dina is an inspiring and joyful presence who guided me with so much patience. The little touches — yoga, facials — made it all feel extra special and restorative. It wasn’t just learning. It was an experience.

We believe deep transformation doesn’t have to feel heavy. With the right space, tools, and support, it can feel freeing, uplifting, and even fun. If you’d love to join one of our programs and experience this for yourself, I’d love to hear from you.
