Feeling Lost After Having Kids? You're Not Alone
Something pretty exciting happened recently… we were featured in the local paper!
The article was titled “Bit of direction can go a long way - Life coaching for mums who feel lost” — and wow, it captured something so many mums I work with feel, but don’t always say out loud.
The article focused on the real identity shift that happens after you become a parent — especially as a mother. Before children, you may have had clear goals, a sense of who you are, and what lights you up. But after becoming a parent, especially in those early years, many mums describe feeling invisible... unsure... like a part of themselves has disappeared.
And that’s exactly why I started this work. Because it doesn’t have to stay that way.
You’re not lost. You’re evolving.
The article shared a little of my story and why I created this space — for mums to reconnect with themselves, learn how to be with their children in a way that feels aligned, and to stop feeling like they have to choose between showing up for their kids and honouring themselves.
And when the journalist asked, “What’s one thing you’d want a mum to know who’s feeling lost right now?” — my answer was this:
“You’re not broken, you’re not doing anything wrong, and you’re not alone. You are simply in a season of life that calls for deeper support — and when you’re supported, you start to hear yourself again. From there, everything changes.”
You are not the only one.
You’re not the only mum who:
feels overwhelmed but doesn’t want to yell anymore
loves their kids deeply but misses feeling like themselves
is craving clarity, calm, and connection, but doesn’t know where to start
This work — this movement — is about changing the way we experience parenting from the inside out. And the response to the article showed me how much this message is needed.
If you’re here because you read that article — welcome.
